Saudi's culture is different from any other country's culture around the world , due to religious commitments that we follow. This actually makes us highly considered as a conservative community. Lets take for an example just to clarify the image, that in our cultures women are not allowed to shake men's hands and vice versa. However, that does not goes on a family member such as mothers , sisters , aunts , and grandmothers , with the exception of female cousines. One more thing about greatings, is that in case of shaking someone's hand , which has to be the same gender of yours, you may expected to use the right hand only. Furthermore about this issue, is that when you shake someone who is older than you with a big gap of age your need to kiss his head out of respecting to that old person.
